A Special Meal Parents Connect Page

Every lesson from God’s Unfolding Story for Older Preschoolers includes a Parents Connect page to help parents or guardians reinforce the lesson at home during the week following the lesson. This is the A Special Meal Parents Connect Page (NT07L3PC). The Lord’s Supper, as found in Matthew 27, is one of the most important events surrounding the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. This event helps explain Jesus’ sacrifice and establishes the example for a Christian tradition which has been observed for centuries. This A Special Meal Parents Connect Page supports the A Special Meal lesson plans (Hours A and B) and will help parents interpret for their children some of what happened at that final Passover meal. It can also be used to help children understand Maundy Thursday.
