Breastplate of Righteousness Spot the Differences

The breastplate of righteousness is just one of the pieces of armor Paul described in Ephesian 6. The breastplate was one of the most important pieces of armor as it protected the most vital organs (such as the heart) from the enemy’s attacks. As Christians, we stand as soldiers of the Lord, but we are clothed in the righteousness of Christ who died on our behalf. We claim no righteousness of our own. Before we adorn other pieces of armor, we must first take on the righteousness of our Lord, Jesus Christ. This spot the differences activity shows the soldier’s breastplate with “RIGHTEOUSNESS” blazoned across the front so there’s no mistaking what we trust. Even kids can understand the importance of a breastplate and the need to trust in Christ’s righteousness, not our own.
