Bible Lesson: When Paul wrote to the Christians in Galatia, he encouraged them to live according to God’s Spirit rather than the flesh. He said the Spirit will produce certain “fruits” or character qualities within us. As Christians, God’s Spirit lives within us and prompts us to live in ways that honor the Lord. Paul listed 9 “fruits” of Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23. He wanted his readers to see the kind of life produced by God’s Spirit living and working within us.
