After God had delivered the Children of Israel from slavery in Egypt, they met with many challenges. God intended for the Israelites to travel into their new home in Canaan, but when the Children of Israel disobeyed God in Exodus 16, there were consequences. Because of their disobedience the Israelites would wander in the wilderness for forty years. This spot the difference activity will help children remember that there are always consequences for disobedience, but even in the wilderness God was with the Children of Israel and provided for them just as He always provides for us.
