Joshua Explored the Promised Land Bible Craft

God had promised a bountiful land “flowing with milk and honey.” When Joshua and the other spies explored the land, they discovered that it was, in fact, a fruitful land. This craft will help remind students of the wonderful gifts God had in store for the children of Israel in the Promised Land.

Bible Story: Joshua Explored the Promised Land

Bible Text: Numbers 13:1-33; 14:6-9

Supplies List:

  • Cardstock
  • Purple paint
  • Cotton balls

Teacher Preparation: Pre-cut a grape cluster shape from cardstock. You will need one per student.

Instructions:

Step 1. Give kids the grape cluster shape and instruct them to color the stem green. Next, give students purple paint and cotton balls. Guide the students in dipping the cotton balls in the paint and then dabbing them on the cardstock to turn it purple.

Step 2. When the paint has dried, the students can glue their purple cotton balls onto the cardstock as well to create a grape cluster.
