In Acts 10, we learn about Cornelius. He was a Roman centurion who loved God, but he was a Gentile so he couldn’t worship with or be friends with the Jews. His story will help kids understand that Jesus broke the barriers that separate people and gives everyone access to God.
Cornelius was a Gentile who worshiped God and honored the Jewish people. God sent Peter to tell Cornelius (and his family and friends) about Jesus. Cornelius became a Christian as a result of Peter's preaching and they became friends because they both loved Jesus.
