Bible Handprint Crafts

Among the many types of free, printable Bible crafts we provide on SundaySchoolZone.com, one of the most popular is the Bible handprint craft. Handprint crafts typically involve outlining or painting the child’s hand(s) in order to create an impression of the hand that is then used in some fashion.

What kid doesn’t enjoy having their hand painted? And parents will love having the simple momento of their child’s little hands.

In most cases we will identify a basic Bible truth the craft can be used to reinforce or teach. Don’t overlook the value of this in a child’s life. Bible activities aren’t just for fun. You want kids to learn something.

Many of the handprint crafts you’ll find on Sunday School Zone will have a complete set of instructions with a supplies list specific to that craft. Others will be more generic with a general list of needed supplies (provided in the PDF) and a picture of the finished craft. In these instances, we believe the crafts are self-explanatory and don’t need any further instructions.

The kinds of needed supplies you might encounter in one of our Bible handprint crafts will possibly include the following. (Links below are affiliate links.)

  • Washable paint
  • Craft ribbon
  • Craft eyes
  • Construction paper
  • Crayons
  • Markers
  • Pencils
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Wipes for clean up
  • Staples/Stapler
  • Hole punch
  • Yarn

You can find a complete list of Bible handprint crafts on Sunday School Zone. All activities on the site are suitable for use in Sunday School, classroom, or home school settings. Have fun!
