David Morrow and his wife, Amy, have been involved in ministry to, through and with kids for over 3 decades. Both have Bachelors degrees, David in Psychology, and Amy in Education. David holds a Masters in Religious Education and Amy a Master’s in Early Childhood Education.
Both have served on church staff. Amy served in Children’s Ministry in churches in Mississippi, Tennessee and Virginia. She has also spent years in the school system as an elementary teacher. She’s had the opportunity to write nationally published curriculum resources for Preschool Weekday Education, Sunday School and discipleship resources for preschool and grade school children.
David has served churches in Oklahoma, Mississippi and Tennessee as Minister of Education and as Children’s Minister and recently retired as Children’s Director at Long Hollow Baptist Church, one of the largest and fastest growing churches in the nation.
David served as a Preschool/Children’s Consultant for the Mississippi Baptist Convention, and in more recent years a writer, consultant and Director of Children’s Ministries for LifeWay Christian Resources. He has written curriculum and articles helping churches and ministries for over 25 years.
David and Amy first developed God’s Unfolding Story for Older Preschoolers several years ago for use at Long Hollow. They continue to minister in numerous ways and are already working to develop ongoing Bible study resources for elementary school children.
While they love the ministries with and through churches, they feel that their greatest link with the future is through their three daughters and their families including 11 grandchildren. They believe God is preparing another generation for mission and ministry. “As we teach children and minister to their parents, we are preparing for the future. We hold the future in our hands!”
