Lesson Description

Naaman was the commander of the Syrian army. Syria was a pagan country that was often hostile toward Israel. Naaman had leprosy, a serious skin disease. He was encouraged by an Israelite servant to see the prophet Elisha for help. He was not a believer so he was skeptical about submitting to Elisha and the God of Israel. Elisha said he must wash in the Jordan river seven times. Naaman resisted at first, but then submitted and God healed him! This Elisha Healed an Army Captain Bible lesson for older preschoolers affirms that Yahweh is the God of all people and will bless anyone who submits to Him in humility. We can all be thankful to God for His great goodness to us!
