Lesson Description
God wasn’t just interested in rescuing His people from Egypt; He also yearned for them to know Him as the one true God and the source of all that is good. It was therefore fitting that God gave Moses His laws to pass along to the Israelites.
Knowing God’s laws, they could know God and live to please Him. Trusting God, they would obey Him, come to know Him, and learn to love Him. They also would know when they’d done wrong. We are the beneficiaries today of God’s giving His laws to His people through Moses.
