Lesson Description

The apostle Paul completed his second missionary journey, and then a third. Having traveled to Jerusalem at the conclusion of his third journey, Paul had the opportunity to give his testimony to a large crowd in that great city. The Jewish leaders, however, strongly opposed him and his ministry, and they had Paul arrested an thrown in prison. Paul spent several years in jail awaiting his trial. During this time he shared his faith with Festus, King Agrippa, and others. When Paul, who was a Roman citizen, appealed his case to Caesar, his destiny became Rome, the capital of the Empire.

The journey to Rome was eventful and dangerous, but God was with Paul, for He was setting the stage for His spokesman to preach Christ in the world’s most influential city. Even a shipwreck would not prevent this from occurring. This Paul was Shipwrecked Bible lesson for older preschoolers is about Paul’s shipwreck and teaches that God always keeps His promises.
