Lesson Description
We don’t know how old Samuel was when God spoke to him in this story, but he certainly was still young. The people needed a spiritual leader and God wanted to provide that leader in Samuel. As we see with Samuel, even children can hear the voice of God when He calls on us to follow. Both we and children must choose to obey or not. This Samuel Obeyed God Bible lesson for older preschoolers looks at Samuel’s obedience as a child and teaches that God wants me to obey.
