What Is God’s Unfolding Story for Older Preschoolers and What Does It Accomplish?
This undated, ongoing Bible study resource is a carefully-crafted series of more than 100 lessons taught in the context of the broader biblical story. Children who attend through the entire two-year suggested study plan will follow God’s unfolding story from creation to heaven primarily in a chronological approach. A year is spent in the Old Testament and a year is spent in 
the New Testament. As much as reasonable and practical, stories are studied in their historical sequence with appropriate consideration given to Christmas and Easter stories each year.
Older preschoolers will study God’s unfolding story from creation to Revelation through the course of more than 100 weekly studies. In the process, they’ll also learn that God’s story continues to unfold and they have a place in it just as surely as the characters they learn about in the Bible.
We created God’s Unfolding Story for Older Preschoolers because children need to understand the Bible isn’t just a collection of stories, but is one grand, ongoing story of God’s unfolding work in their world and in their lives. The six story elements of God’s Unfolding Story will be reviewed every week so children quickly learn to tell the biblical story in a way appropriate for older preschoolers. Is It Really Free?
Yes. It has been for sale but is now available for free. Each lesson contains four downloadable PDFs. There are more than 100 lessons in the curriculum. That’s more than 400 separate files we’ve had to configure for delivery on Sunday School Zone, but the work has been completed so it’s all ready for downloading at your convenience. What Do I Get?
Each lesson contains resources and teaching suggestions for two hours of study time each week. Lessons are delivered in PDF files containing the lesson and activities for both hours, a full-color, illustrated teaching picture, and a weekly parent handout.

What Stories Will the Children Study?
The two-year suggested study plan can be viewed or downloaded here. Because the lessons are undated, they can be studied at any time. The suggested study sequence is an attempt to place the stories in roughly their historical sequence.
