Bible Lesson: Gabriel was an angel sent from God to tell Mary that she would have a baby and the baby would be the Messiah first promised in Genesis 3:15 and anticipated through all of the Old Testament. This was the moment the people of God had been waiting for through the centuries. God was finally sending the Messiah to be our Savior! Children today need to hear that Jesus was the Messiah and we celebrate the historic event of his coming at Christmas time.
