Bible Story: Joshua Replaced Moses
Bible Text: Joshua 24:14-15
Suggested Learning Outcome: This fun popsicle stick craft will help children learn about the importance of committing their lives to God in the same way Joshua did. Supplies List: (See image.)
- Popsicle sticks
- Glue dots
- Liquid glue
- Joshua 24:15 printed or written out on pages (one per child)
- Markers or crayons
- Very small stickers (optional)
Instructions:
Step 1. Print out or write out in advance Joshua 24:15 on paper cut into a house shape. Dimensions should be: Bottom and Sides – 4 in. Roof – 3 in. See picture in Step 5 below.
Step 2. Hand out 5 popsicle sticks to each child. Guide children in gluing the sticks together in the shape of a house as shown in picture. Note: glue dots will hold sticks tightly with no need to wait for drying.
Step 3. Allow children to color sticks with crayons.
Step 4. Allow students to apply stickers if you choose to use stickers.
Step 5. Carefully glue the Scripture page to the back.
