Could it be? Could the Messiah be born in Bethlehem tonight? The shepherds were excited. God’s angels had given them a glorious announcement. What if they had decided to stay with the sheep and think, “this is no big deal?” That would be silly. God was doing something amazing. Joy and excitement was the only appropriate response. When God works in our lives, joy and excitement is still the appropriate response.
