Easter Activity for Kids

Easter Activity Booklet for Kids

Check out this fun, engaging, and interactive Easter Activity for Kids that will equip your children to share the Resurrection message of Jesus – the real meaning of Easter – with others. Get more information, instructions, supply list, and all the downloads here.

This Easter Activity has six lessons, each with a color-coded egg containing an object representing the last week of Jesus life –

  1. The Triumphal Entry in Jerusalem (corresponds to the green egg containing a donkey)

  2. The Last Supper (corresponds to the purple egg containing a small cup)

  3. Praying in the Garden of Gethsemane (corresponds to the yellow egg containing prayer hands)

  4. The Cross (corresponds to the blue egg containing a cross)

  5. The Rock that secured the tomb (corresponds to the orange egg containing a rock)

  6. The Empty Tomb – Jesus is Alive! (corresponds to the pink egg that is empty)

Each page of the booklet has a summary of the specific part of the story, the Bible reference from Matthew, a color-coded egg icon with a picture of the object that represents that part of the story, and review questions. There are also QR codes for more Easter activities to explore.

Kids will learn the Easter story better when they hear the lessons, read the lessons, and see and touch the lessons! Creating their own take-home set of a half-dozen eggs that contain the story, along a printed booklet that equips them to teach it to others, will make learning, and sharing, this lesson fun and engaging.
