Bible Lesson: Samson was one of the last of the Judges and was an interesting man with significant character flaws. And yet, God used Samson to deliver Israel from the oppression of the Philistines. Samson was not to cut his hair as a vow to the Lord. When Delilah learned this was the secret of his strength, she cut his hair and then betrayed him to the Philistines. When the Philistines were celebrating his capture at a feast to their god, Samson was to be their entertainment. He prayed for strength and God allowed him to bring down the temple, killing the Philistines and Samson himself.
