Bible Story: Jesus Taught About God’s Love

Bible Text: John 3:1-16

Suggested Learning Outcome: This simple craft will help even the youngest child remember that God loves them and that they are valuable to Him.

Supplies List:

• Construction paper
• Glue
• Crayons
• Scissors

Teacher Preparation: On construction paper draw one large heart shape for each child.

Instructions:

Step 1. Give children several pieces of scrap construction paper of different colors and allow them to cut or rip the papers into small pieces (see image).

Step 2. Give learners the paper with the heart shape and instruct them to fill the inside of the heart by gluing different colored pieces of paper to create a mosaic effect (see image).

Step 3. Guide children in writing or copying the words “God Loves Me To Pieces” at the top of their mosaic page (see image).
