Bible Story: Paul’s Letter To Timothy

Bible Text: 2 Timothy 1-3

Suggested Learning Outcome: This paper plate craft will help children remember Paul’s important words to Timothy about finishing the race (2 Tim. 4:7).

Supplies List:

Paper plates
Blue construction paper
Yellow crayons
Glue
Markers

Teacher Preparation: Trim blue construction paper sheets to about 6 inches wide (see image).

Instructions:

Step 1. Give children paper plates (one per child) and instruct them to color the plate yellow or gold. Guide kids in writing the words “Finish Your Race” on the paper plate to remind them of Paul’ s words to Timothy about finishing the race (see image).

Step 2. Guide children in cutting a triangular shape out of the bottom of the blue construction paper to form a ribbon shape and glue the blue construction paper “ribbon” to the paper plate (see image).
