Philip Told About Jesus Bible Story Scene
We learn about the birth of the early church on the Day of Pentecost and the rapid spread of the early church in the Book of Acts. One of the great characters we encounter in the Book of Acts is a man named Philip. Philip was chosen by the church to serve in the important distribution to the widows after there was a problem with it. But, Philip was also faithful in taking the message of Jesus to others just as Jesus had told them to do. In Acts 8:26-40 we read about how God led Philip to speak to a royal official of the Queen of Ethiopia. This man was a eunuch and had been to Jerusalem to worship, but he didn’t know Jesus was the long-awaited Messiah. As the man was on his way home, God led Philip to speak with him and help him understand that Jesus is the Messiah of the Old Testament. That day the man believed in Jesus and asked to be baptized. This Philip Told About Jesus Bible Story Scene will help kids learn about this story as well as Philip’s obedience to the Spirit’s leading in his life.
