Shield of Faith Word Line Up

In Ephesians 6:10-17, Paul taught the Church at Ephesus about the various pieces of the “armor of God.” In verse 16, Paul said we should “take the shield of faith” in order to “extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.” Faith in who God is (His person) and what He is like (His character) can provide us with the power we need to stand against “the evil one.” This Shield of Faith Word Line Up activity will encourage children to embrace faith in their lives as part of the armor God provides for us as we seek to live our lives as He desires. It can be used in a homeschool setting, one-on-one, or in a classroom setting like Sunday School.
