Sodom and Gomorrah Word Search

We learn about the story of Sodom and Gomorrah in Genesis chapter 19. Just prior to this, in chapter 18, the angels told Abraham of their intention to judge the cities. This grieved Abraham so he interceded on behalf of the cities, but their sin had gone too far. Judgment would be needed to keep their sin and evil in check. Only Lot and his family would be spared. This Sodom and Gomorrah Word Search will help kids understand that God is patient with humankind, but sooner or later He will act in judgment in order to keep evil from growing too much and hurting people even more. All of us (even children) need to understand that sin and evil can only lead to death, suffering, and destruction in our lives and in the world.
