Bible Story: The Parable of the Forgiving King

Bible Text: Matthew 18:21-35

Suggested Learning Outcome: This crown craft will give children the opportunity to role play and learn the story of the forgiving king.

Supplies List:

• Colored construction paper
• Glitter
• Tape
• Scissors
• Crayons

Teacher Preparation: Pre-cut construction paper into crown templates and headbands. One Sheet of paper can create a crown set for 1 student. Create a set for each student (see image).

 

 

 

 

Instructions:

Step 1. Give each child a crown page and instruct them to decorate it using crayons, glue and glitter (see image).

 

 

 

 

Step 2. Tape the headband to one side of the crown, wrap the headband around the child’s head to fit, hold in place and tape on the other side (see image).
