The Shepherds’ Story Word Tiles

It was just another night in the fields for these shepherds, until the angels appeared and told them the Messiah had come as a baby and was nearby in Bethlehem. Like most Jews at that time, the shepherds were waiting for the Messiah. It’s not difficult to imagine how excited they were as they rushed to find the baby. Sometimes our familiarity with the story can rob it of its power to give us joy. This Shepherds’ Story Word Tiles activity can be used to encourage kids to rejoice over Jesus’ birth, just like the shepherds did.
