Wise Men Told About Jesus Bible Craft

After the Magi (Wise Men) visited the young Jesus, the Bible says they returned to their own country. They certainly told their incredible story to many they encountered on the way and once they arrived home. What great news they had to share! This Wise Men Told About Jesus Bible Craft will remind children of the special sign in the sky that led the Magi to Jesus.

Bible Story: Wise Men Told About Jesus

Bible Text: Matthew 2:1-12

Supplies List:

• Craft sticks (3 per child)
• Metallic pipe cleaners (4 per child)
• Glue

Instructions:

Step 1. Give kids three craft sticks and three pipe cleaners. Instruct the children to wind the pipe cleaners around the sticks to create a striped design.

Step 2. Have the kids use another pipe cleaner (half a pipe cleaner works well) to create a secure hanger on the top of the stick you will use as the center of your star.

Step 3. Lead the kids to glue and layer the craft sticks to create a star shape. Allow sticks to dry thoroughly before hanging.
