Lot was the son of Abraham’s brother Haran, and thus Abraham’s nephew. Lot created problems for Abraham more than once, leading some to believe it was a mistake for Abraham to allow Lot to make the journey with Abraham. These activities are related to Abraham's nephew, Lot.
