Simeon (and Anna)

Simeon was an old man who spent his days at the temple waiting and hoping to see the Messiah. When Mary and Joseph took Jesus to the temple as a baby, Simeon saw Jesus and declared that He was, in deed, the Messiah. Anna was also waiting for the Messiah and at the temple when Jesus came in. She also testified to Jesus as the Messiah.
