Bible Crafts for Kids

Activities CroppedKids enjoy learning by doing. In fact, all of us learn better and more permanently by doing as opposed to just listening. That’s why Sunday School Zone provides a healthy library of crafts for kids for use at home, church, or school. And, we will continue to add more crafts as we add more Bible stories.

Bible crafts for kids are activities that require cutting, gluing and/or additional resources such as tape, craft sticks, and yarn. Most of our crafts are related to specific Bible stories, but some are related to seasonal emphases that may not have a specific Bible story associated with the holiday.

Each activity provides a simple suggested learning outcome, a list of needed supplies, and step-by-step instructions with photos to help you and the children prepare for and complete each craft with ease. In each case we also provide a downloadable PDF of the activity (with pictures) in case it’s easier for you simply to download and print the instructions rather than attempting to follow them online.

You can find a list of all crafts here, beginning with the most recently added.

Crafts typically require some adult supervision and preparation, especially for younger children. If you’re using the craft at home, we would encourage you to use this time to do more than simply gather supplies and supervise the activity. Consider reading the related Bible story in advance so you can talk about it while the children are having fun completing the craft.

Whether you use the craft at home or in a group setting at home or school, we think you’ll find that it can provide fun for the kids while also reinforcing important Bible stories and truths.
