Free Bible Lessons for Kids

SundaySchoolZone.com provides a growing number of free Bible lessons for children. These are very simple plans for teaching selected stories to kids using the free, printable Bible lesson activities on the site. These lessons typically come in sets of four or five Bible lessons in case you want to teach a series of lessons on a particular topic over the course of a month (four or five weeks). Each lesson, however, can be accessed and used individually. Some sets have more than five lessons and more are coming.

Predictable And Flexible Plans

You’ll quickly see that these Bible lessons all follow the same model that is predictable (so you can always know what is coming), while also being flexible because they utilize the free printable activities available on the site. We are not striving for super creativity here, but rather are aiming for flexibility and ease. You can adapt these as needed for any age group or any learning level. The variety of types of printable Bible activities available will allow you to customize the activities for the learning styles of your kids. You can even provide one type of printable Bible activity for one child and a different type for another.

The Lead, The Lesson, The Landing

Every Bible lesson will begin with “The Lead,” to help you open the session with an activity you select. This will help you introduce the story and set the tone for the session. After that, “The Lesson” will provide you with the substantive truth(s) you need to communicate in the session. As children engage with the Bible story using related Bible lesson activities, help them think about these important truths. And, finally, “The Landing” will help you wrap up the lesson and make a relevant application to the lives of the children.

These Bible lessons can be used by themselves or as supplements to a curriculum resource you may already be using.
