Teaching The Bible To Children

Sunday School Zone helps churches, parents, and others in teaching the Bible to children. There are hundreds of free, printable Bible activities on Sunday School Zone and they are, in fact, all free. People are searching for these kinds of free activities and we’re glad to provide them. We’re able to keep doing this because we sell advertising on the site and then use the money to grow the site. We hope you will support the site by visiting often, by signing up for our free weekly newsletter, by liking us on Facebook, and by pinning things you like on Pinterest. But, there’s more to Sunday School Zone than just free, printable activities…

More than Bible Activities

We’re ultimately about helping churches, parents, teachers and others teach the Bible (and the biblical story) to children in the context of a loving, New Testament family and church. We believe the Bible is God’s revelation of Himself and His plan for people of all time. It is wonderfully divine and mysteriously powerful. As people study the Bible and build their lives on the principles found in its pages, their lives will begin to reflect the heart and love of Jesus Christ. We believe people need to study the Bible. So, we’ll do our best to provide a range of resources that encourage Bible study at home and in the church or school setting.

Start at a Young Age

We also believe Bible learning should start at a very young age. Children need to be exposed to the story of the Bible at the earliest possible time. That’s why most of the resources you’ll find on Sunday School Zone are for kids. This is consistent with the mandate of Scripture found in Deuteronomy 4:9… “Only be on your guard and diligently watch yourselves, so that you don’t forget the things your eyes have seen and so that they don’t slip from your mind as long as you live. Teach them to your children and your grandchildren” (emphasis added).

Ministry and Relationships

So, we want to facilitate strong Bible teaching in the home and church. But that is best accomplished when the Bible is taught by loving parents and teachers in the home and church. Learners of all ages need to see the truths of Scripture lived out in relationships whether they’re at home, church, or school. Consequently, we want to provide ministry/parenting tips as well so the adults responsible for teaching the Bible are also fostering a loving environment wherever the Bible teaching is happening.

Sunday School Zone is about more than free printable Bible activities and that will be increasingly the case as time goes along.
