“BEST evangelistic event EVER!!” – a Children’s Pastor (just the other day!)

HEY HEY from the road! My name is Donnie Slade and I am the President/CEO of Kidz Blitz Ministries, but I really just prefer the title of Papa. I wanted to share with you what our ministry is and how we bring The Gospel and games together for a high-energy, memorable, event! First and foremost, let me introduce myself further. I just celebrated 33 years with my beautiful bride, Christy. We have been blessed with 3 children and their spouses, and my favorite blessings… 4 grandbabies and 1 on the way! I was formerly a children’s pastor and have been in children and family ministry for over 30 years now.

I wanted to share those details about myself with you because I wanted you to know that I GET IT. I SEE YOU. AND I WANT TO HELP.

We are often told Blitz events are the easiest, big events to host and we always see people come to know Jesus at every. single. event.

We also will get asked, “ what is Blitz?”

We are a HIGH ENERGY event based ministry that travels all over the U.S. I’m talking rubber chickens, TP Bazookas, chocolate donuts, water balloons, Legos,  grits… wait what?! Yes – grits! Don’t you worry… we only make a little mess!

We have 4 teams so we stay busy and love it! Our heart is to share the Good News in a way that children and their families understand. We use games throughout the entire event and each game has a biblical principle that leads up to a Gospel presentation and an invitation. We have Kidz Blitz – solely for kids; and we have Fam Blitz – kids and their parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc! We see A LOT of adults come to know Jesus at Fam Blitz events and hear stories of families accepting Jesus into their lives and homes. THIS is why we do what we do!!
