Lesson Description

David had been called by God to replace King Saul. Saul’s son was Jonathan. David and Jonathan became strong friends even though it was inevitable that there would be conflict between Saul and David. In spite of the eventual trouble between families, David and Jonathan committed themselves to enduring friendship. Their friendship created a good model for all of our friendships.
