Lesson Description

The character and faith that David developed in the fields as a shepherd boy were tested more than once. Perhaps the most dramatic instance was when a massive Philistine named Goliath defied Israel’s army and Yahweh Himself. David happened to be there and determined that this giant of a man was no different than the lion or bear he had vanquished in the fields. David believed God was his strength and help and conquered Goliath in God’s name. This David and the Giant Bible lesson for older preschoolers is about this story and teaches that God is my strength and my help.
