Lesson Description

Hannah had dedicated Samuel to the Lord’s service even before he was conceived, but that alone was no guarantee that Samuel would have a heart for Yahweh. But Samuel grew up serving alongside Eli, the priest. He learned the meaning of service early and, with encouragement from his loving mother, also learned to “serve the Lord with gladness.” This Samuel Served God Bible lesson for older preschoolers explores Samuel’s service and teaches that God wants me to serve Him with a happy heart.
