Lesson Description
Genuine faith in the God of the Bible cannot coexist with worry. How do we know this? We know it through experience; but even more importantly, we know it because God’s Word indicates that the two are mutually exclusive. Jesus said, “Consider how the wildflowers grow: They don’t labor or spin thread. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was adorned like one of these! If that’s how God clothes the grass, which is in the field today and is thrown into the furnace tomorrow, how much more will He do for you—you of little faith?” (Luke 12:27-28). Children and adults alike need to learn that the more we trust God, the less we will worry. This lesson helps to convey this important truth. Why should we believe God will take care of us? Because He promised to do so, and He really will! He is worthy of our absolute and complete trust!
