Sara Galyon on The Sunday School Zone Blog

Sara Galyon is a professional youth minister with a Master of Arts in Youth Ministry from Memphis Theological Seminary. She loves making the Bible accessible for all ages, as well as inviting students and children to enter into God’s story and find their place in the narrative. “I love funny movies, and stand up comedy. I love people, all kinds of people, and languages. I could sit in a coffee shop (another love) and listen to other people’s languages for hours. I speak Spanish, a little Portuguese, and enough Arabic to make polite conversation, but I’d love to learn more.” 

Sara lives with her fellow youth minister husband, Philip Galyon, along with two sons, Grandmother, and two dogs. Sara and Philip live in Decatur Alabama where he serves as the Director of Student Ministries for a United Methodist Church there.
