Teaching the Story of the Bible to Kids Workshop at Mega-Con

Kidmin Nation Mega-Con is coming to Nashville, Tennessee Tuesday-Thursday, October 5-7 and we’re hoping to see you and visit with you there! It’s not too late to register and attend. It’s a great event that can make a real difference in your ministry to kids. There’s simply no better KidMin conference around at any price and this one is priced really well! Sunday School Zone will be exhibiting at the event, but we’ll also be leading a breakout session. On Wednesday, October 6 at 3:30, Rick Edwards will be leading a breakout session on Teaching the Story of the Bible to Kids. What will this break-out session be about?

Conference Description

The Bible is filled with stories, but it also tells a single, ongoing story. Teaching the story of the Bible is an important aspect of children’s Christian education, but it has been neglected in many Bible study curricula for children in the contemporary church. This breakout session will cover the educational rationale for teaching kids the story of the Bible while also providing a practical framework for teaching the story as a complement to any children’s Bible curriculum the church may already be using.

Free Resources

This breakout session will NOT be product-oriented (we won’t be trying to sell you anything), but will provide the rationale and access to free resources that can help churches teach the biblical story to kids. This workshop will challenge and help KidMin leaders teach the STORY of the Bible and not just the STORIES of the Bible as they use whatever curriculum they’re currently using.

Come See Us!

We’d love to see you at this event and have you join us for this breakout session. Learn how you can help children understand that they are a part of the biblical story without changing the curriculum you’re currently using!
