Moses Unit (Five Lessons)
Just as God delivered His people through Joseph by bringing them to Egypt, He used Moses years later to deliver them from Egypt. God had chosen the Hebrews centuries before as His own special people, desiring to place them on display before the world so that He could show both the Hebrews and the world at large that He is the only true God.
The lessons in this unit tell the story of God’s using Moses to lead His people out of Egyptian bondage. In it, we see God orchestrating both world events and the details in individuals’ lives, all for His glory. Even preschoolers can respond to the story of Moses by choosing to love God and praise Him for His work. Lessons in this unit are listed below. Unit Bible Lessons
Against all odds, Moses’ life was spared. Remarkably, he even was reared in Pharaoh’s palace. This free lesson shows that God was setting the stage to deliver His people from Egyptian oppression.
God told Moses to go to Pharaoh and demand that he free the Israelites. Initially Moses was less than enthusiastic, but he finally agreed. This free lesson is about Moses’ encounter with God in the burning bush.
God used Moses to demand that Pharaoh allow the Israelites to leave. In this free lesson, we’ll learn about the price Pharaoh and His nation, Egypt, paid because Pharaoh repeatedly said no to God.
With an impassable body of water in front of them and the Egyptian army behind them, the Israelites cried out to God for deliverance. This free lesson is about the answer God gave.
God didn’t just rescue His people from bondage in Egypt, He gave them His laws so they could know and love Him. What a good God He is! This free lesson is about God’s gift of the Ten Commandments to Moses.
