What’s Coming with God’s Unfolding Story for Babies

If you’re reading this, you probably are receiving the free God’s Unfolding Story for Babies Newsletter, which means you have expressed interest in the curriculum, whether or not you are actually using it yet. Thank you for that interest! We know the curriculum is new and people will be curious about where it’s going.

So, we thought it might be helpful to let you know what to expect as things move forward with the God’s Unfolding Story for Babies curriculum. Our work on the curriculum is not done. In fact, we’re just getting started! Here are some things to anticipate in the future.

What’s Coming…

• We anticipate the number of churches using God’s Unfolding Story for Babies to grow. It’s free and we believe it’s well-done. It is based on a solid philosophy of helping babies develop attachments with people in the church. As the word gets out, we expect more and more churches to use it.
• We expect the number of people in the God’s Unfolding Story for Babies Facebook Group to grow. As this happens, the level of interaction will increase and a dynamic community of teachers and leaders involved in ministry to babies will develop.
• Additional content specifically designed for teachers of babies is being planned and developed. This will include very practical tips for the classroom as well as more general articles for teachers, parents, or anyone with a responsibility for babies. You will be able to find all content of this nature here.
• God’s Unfolding Story for Toddlers is being planned and developed. Once it is released, we will have a full range of curriculum for preschoolers; from newborns to children entering grade school. This will help churches provide a seamless teaching experience for preschoolers based on a strong developmental philosophy and study sequence.

A Dynamic and High-Priority Community

It has always been our goal to do more than merely provide free, high-quality Bible study curriculum for churches. We want to create a dynamic and high-priority community of people (teachers, parents, guardians, pastors, etc.) who are raising the bar for the church’s ministry to preschoolers. We believe this is where the church’s most important discipleship efforts are taking place. This is where the most foundational elements of a child’s identity are being laid. It is here that we are shaping the future faith of these young lives. As we learn and grow together and engage in a meaningful and practical dialog about ministry to babies, we will help churches everywhere be more strategic and intentional about preschool ministry.
