Unless otherwise noted, Scripture quotations used in God’s Unfolding Story for Older Preschoolers will be taken from the Holman Christian Standard Bible* (HCSB) published by Holman Bible Publishers because of its accuracy, readability, and faithfulness to the original languages.

Bible Phrases

In order to help older preschoolers develop a further appreciation of and respect for God’s Word, each lesson will employ a Bible Phrase. The Bible Phrase is a summary or abbreviation of the referenced verse(s) framed in a way that is appropriate for older preschoolers. These Bible phrases are not part of the HCSB or endorsed in any way by B&H Publishing Group.
