Short Bible Verses for Kids from the Old Testament

We have compiled a list of simple Bible verses that kids can memorize easily that also will help them secure important Bible truths in their hearts. The list below is taken from the Old Testament. In most instances we have included just a phrase from the entire verse in order to help the children focus on the critical truth and learn it more quickly.

Each of these verses has a corresponding free scripture page that can be downloaded and used to help the child learn the verse by placing it on a wall or mirror as a regular reminder. Each scripture page also includes a simple Bible lesson that can be used by a parent or teacher to emphasize why this verse is important.
