Peter Preached with Boldness
Not long after the resurrection and the Day of Pentecost, we find a story recorded in Acts 3 and 4 about Peter and John and the early church. After Peter and John had healed a lame man in the temple, Peter preached to the crowd of people who had gathered to see what had happened. In response, the religious leaders placed Peter and John in jail. The next day Peter and John were questioned by the religious leaders (the Sanhedrin) and asked by what authority they were preaching and healing. Peter boldly declared that they did what they did in Jesus’ name and that He is the only way to salvation. The activities and resources listed below are about this encounter between Peter and John and the Sanhedrin.
