God Bless My Mom Craft

Bible Story: Make Your Parents Glad

Bible Text: Proverbs 23:25

Suggested Learning Outcome: This Bible verse and craft will help remind children that they have a responsibility to let their parents “have joy.”

Supplies List:

• Yellow and pink construction paper
• Green pipe cleaners
• Foam flower stickers
• Crayons
• Glue
• Tape

Teacher Preparation: Pre-cut a small flower pot shape from yellow construction paper (1 for each learner).

Instructions:

Step 1. Give each child a piece of pink construction paper and a yellow flowerpot shape. Help children cut their green pipe cleaner into small sections and tape the sections to the top of the flowerpot.

 

 

 

 

Step 2. Have children turn the flower pot over and write or copy the words, “God Bless My Mom,” on the front and then glue the pot to the pink construction paper.

 

 

 

 

Step 3. Now guide children in sticking their foam flower stickers to the top of each pipe cleaner stem to create a fun pot of flowers for their Mom.
