John 3:16 Write the Bible Phrase Worksheet

This Write the Bible Phrase worksheet calls for kids to write John 3:16 as translated in the Holman Christian Standard Bible. The entire verse reads, “For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 may be one of the most familiar verses in all of the Bible and will help kids understand that God’s great love was demonstrated in the death of Jesus on the cross. Connecting these two realities (God’s love and Jesus’ death) is important even for younger children. Understanding the death of Jesus can be a challenge, but it’s something we need to begin teaching children at an early age.
