Use the chosen activity to introduce the story.

The Lesson

Select an appropriate number of printable activities from the list of related Bible activities on Jesus’ lesson about God’s care for us and use them to engage your kids in the story. As they work on the activities, emphasize the following truths:

  • God cares for us and provides for our needs, so we shouldn’t worry.
  • God’s creation demonstrates and reveals His love in the way God provides for the needs of flowers and animals.
  • We should trust God to meet our needs rather than worry about our needs.
  • As the teacher, you’ll want to keep in mind that God meets our needs according to His will. Sometimes God’s broader plan allows for the suffering of His people to build their character or accomplish His greater purpose. (This concept may be more appropriate for older kids, but it’s important to keep in mind for all children.)

The Landing

Help the children understand that while the circumstances of life make it easy to worry, God wants us to trust Him to meet our needs.
