Jesus Healed A Woman With A Crooked Back Match Game
In Luke 13:10-17, Jesus healed a woman who had been bent over due to a problem in her back for over for 18 years. A synagogue leader was upset that Jesus performed the miracle on the Sabbath. Healing or performing a miracle was considered “working” and wasn’t, therefore, allowed on the Sabbath. But Jesus corrected the man, letting him know that it was right to heal a “daughter of Abraham” when He did, even on the Sabbath. The story is a wonderful example of the many miracles Jesus performed and, like many things He did, points to the fact that Jesus was, and is, the Messiah. This Jesus Healed A Woman with a Crooked Back Match Game can help kids understand that Jesus was Lord over all things, including the Sabbath. The activity can be used as part of a Bible teaching session in a Sunday School, home school, or Christian school setting.
