Prophets Told About Jesus Bible Craft
Several Old Testament prophets foretold the birth of the Messiah. This story focuses on passages from Isaiah and Micah. After learning about these prophets’ special Christmas message, kids can create this adorable finger print Christmas card to send their own Christmas message to a loved one.

Bible Story: Prophets Told About Jesus
Bible Text: Isa. 7:14; 9:2-7; Micah 5:2
Supplies List:
- Red, green and white construction paper
- Brown, yellow, blue and red paint
- Glue
Teacher Preparation: Pre-cut red construction paper to create rectangles approximately 7 inches long and 5 ½ inches wide. Cut white construction sheets into fourths. Fold green construction paper in half to create a card. On the inside of the card write in large print , “CHRIST IS BORN.”
Instructions:
Step 1. Give children the green construction paper card and guide them in covering the lettering in red finger prints. Allow to dry.
Step 2. Give kids the white construction paper rectangle and guide them in creating a finger print manger scene using blue, yellow and brown paint.
Step 3. Help children glue their manger scene onto the red construction paper rectangle and then gluing the red rectangle to the front of their card.
