Bible Text: Exodus 20:1-17

Bible Lesson: Left to our own devices we simply don’t know how to live in a way that’s healthy for ourselves and our communities, as well as honorable to the God of the Bible. Consequently, God has revealed to us in the Bible how to live. When God encountered Moses on Mt. Sinai following the Exodus, He gave Moses very specific laws that were to govern how the people would relate to each other and how they would relate to Him. The core of these laws were stated in what we now call the Ten Commandments.
